British Columbia law requires that real estate professionals and consumer platforms define relationship roles clearly. Listing brokers cannot protect your interests or negotiate on your behalf
Listing agents are legally bound to optimize financial outcomes for their seller clients
Any confidential information you share may be used to benefit the opposing party
You receive no advisory support and no consumer protections under RESA
